For the music of our film we needed to find something that put the audience on edge without the music sounding scary like a horror film as the genre of our film is psychological thriller. We found a piano piece of music which made the film seem tense and put the audience on edge as you know something is going to happen. We also used the sound of a baby crying so the audience knows the main character 'Emily Roberts' is looking after a baby. This also makes it tense as a baby being a victim in a film makes the film seem more creepy and this will put the audience on edge as they won't want anything to happen to such a vulnerable charcter.

Main Task - Production Company
The production company we have chosen is Fear Driven Films. It is an independent film company which is in the East of England. They specialise in producing films of the thriller and horror genre which is why we've chosen this production company because our film is a thriller. It has produced films such as; Drive By Sunset and Smiley Stagnant. Smiley Stagnant received two nominations at the 2010 British Horror Film Festival and the other films have received awards as well.

Main Task - Genre
After the pitch we presented, we soon realised that the genre was not actually horror but instead it was a psychological thriller as our film didn’t include a lot or the conventions you would see in a horror film so we changed it to a more suitable one.
Main Task - Changed Name For Film
The original name for our film was going to be 'Jealously' which did fit well with our film as its about a girl who is jealous over her neighbours new born baby. However, even though the name did fit well with our film, we came across the name of 'First Born' and decided this seems more fitting with our story and doesn't give too much away about the film. It relates well with the film as it’s about the neighbours new first born baby.
